Answer:
"In regards to FPS and performance, well I doubt it's likely that we'll hit a solid 60 FPS as there's plenty of transitional zones that will stream in new assets just before rendering. It's true that we're budgeting for highly polygon count especially since this latest technology on GPUs can totally handle it and the fact that the majority of outter space is empty allowing for high rez set pieces, however that doesn't excuse drawcalls, shaders, and texture sizes. If these budgets get out of hand then we're in trouble. But if we hit anything <30 FPS with that rig you decribe, then I'm not doing my job ;)"

Vielä lyhyesti noihin thrustereihin liittyen...

"As I'm sure you've read from posts and seen from CR's vids, all the vehicle thrusters will have purpose to their output. So this means there is the possibility of using your maneuvering thrusters to achieve 6 axis velocity control. Also keep in mind of the near 0 drag coefficient in space so it will allow you to perform a 180 with your thrusters while still traveling in the same direction. "

15 miljoonaa tulee täyteen heinä-/elokuun vaihteessa. Viimeistään elokuun ensimmäisellä viikolla.

15 miljoonaa täyttyi 1. elokuuta. Aika nappiin siis. Jännityksellä odottaa milloin Hornet promo alkaa ja ehtiikö Hangar-modulin ilmestyminen nostamaan potin seuraavan ennustuksen tasolle. Jos Hornet promoa tulee vasta Hangar-modulin yhteydessä niin pahalta näyttää. Tai mikäli molemmat viivästyvät syyskuun puolelle niin ei tule tapahtumaan.

Vielä 16m stretch goalit:

    -Arena mode: The next generation of Wing Commander’s TrainSim allows pilots to test out their combat skills against friends or strangers in a simulation. Gain valuable combat experience without the downside of losing your ship in the game universe! Place bets on competitions across the galaxy.
    -A laser pistol for every pledger before this point. Keep your ship safe from boarders with a pistol by your side.


ja 17m:

    -Ship upgrade package for every pledger containing an engine modifier.
    -Additional flyable ship class: battlecruiser
